When the last key is gone, the dealer usually wants the car towed in and the key ordered. We bring the tools to the car, read the module that holds the key data, and write a new key on site whenever the system allows.

What happens at the car
- We confirm the system from the year and model before driving out.
- At the car we read and back up the module data.
- A new key is written and paired, and the emergency blade is cut to your lock.
- Old keys are removed. Everything is tested with you.
When it's dealer only
Mercedes-Benz cars with FBS4, which covers most passenger cars from about 2015 on, can only get keys from Mercedes. A few very new models of other makes are in the same position. If that's your car, you hear it from us before you pay anything.
Before you call
Have the year, make and model ready, and whether the car has a start button or a key slot. A registration or title in your name speeds things up. More in what a European key costs in 2026.

Can you make a BMW key if I lost all keys?
On most BMW models, yes, by reading the CAS, FEM or BDC module at the car or on the bench.
Can you make a Mercedes key with no key at all?
On FBS3 cars, roughly 1997 to 2014 plus some 2016 to 2018 vans, yes. FBS4 cars are dealer only.
Will the lost key still start my car?
No. We remove lost keys from the car when the new one is programmed.
